Well... recently... in fact two seconds ago... my Companion Sister Jackson leaps up from her chair screaming "SHES PREGNANT SHE IS PREGNANT!!!! WHENS THE DUE DATE WHENS THE DUE DATE".... Scared me half to death... well i want this news too... hint hint crystal and amber :) but we all just laughed and laughed ... it was very funny on accounts that we are in a church library and all, but this is the same sister who has a brother who won at BINGO and jumps on the table and takes his shirt off and waves it around yelling "BINGO BINGO BINGO" so i am not all that surprised. this is one of the many reason i love her so much! :)
So my past week... CRAZY!!!! We spent a lot of time with Chris... he is our Less Active's Grandson... sad news is that he leaves this Wednesday for Florida and he doesnt know if he will be coming back or not. But we taught him four times this week!! he just loves the Gospel and is a blast to teach... but one of the times... Eileen was asleep in her room... and she is Deaf, and her door was lock so we had no chance of waking her up... soooo we decided to take our lesson outside to a more public setting so we go out and sit on the lawn in front of her town home and start to pray... at the same time a police helicopter flies over and says on the intercom " please go inside of your residence and lock your doors" repeatedly. well... we freak a little and tell chris we will have to see you again another time... we cant go in the house cause we dont know when we will be able to get out again... so we high tale it to the car... along the way we see a police officer checking all of the dumpsters... we know that heavenly father is looking out for us! :)
Also we had an unexpected call from Joi and Dalynn to come teach them before Dalynn moves back to her moms in LA... so we go and teach them once more about the importance of prayer, but Dalynn had all these questions about the other things we had taught them... it was proof that she truly was there and taking in all that we were teaching her what a tender mercy! :) They are so cutie! I will miss them so much! but not miss their family tree, but it is alot like all of the other Deaf family trees... its not a tree they are all a Line... :)
We also had Zone Conference this week... AMAZING!!!! also Sister Jackson was asked to give a talk, i am so happy that she is my companion, she teaches me so much and we have so much fun together and we see so many miracles! President Bowen asked us to sacrifice something to show the lord that we are truly trying to focus on the work and to improve... we we decided to sacrifice a few thing... (1) our nightly planning, we are going to try our hardest to not get distracted. (2) Show more charity to our members of the branch (3) stop doing less active work, they are not helping us get baptisms, and (4) we need to have a change of heart towards our district leader, this we have been working on since before i came as a missionary. But i do know that when the three of us do give us this and sacrifice and show the love we mean business then the baptisms will come. :)
My fathers day... :) we had an amazing lesson with SIX deaf people in one room!!!! one was an excommunicated member, one was a member and the other four were investigators... two we had met that day!!! it was crazy!! but we did get a new investigator out of it Linny... she is so cute! and we are so excited to start teaching her!!! :) YAY!!!! :)
So the part mom has been waiting for.... my packages... i got them all... all THREE :) and a bunch of letters... most of them from crystal and one from greg. The Packages, I LOVE THEM SO SO SO SO SO SO SO MUCH!!!! mom i had no idea you were going to send me more clothes and i love them all very much!! Of course i love to get new clothes all the time and mom the sharpies... I love them and i use them alllll the time!!! and Crystal my companions love love love their skirts a lot!!! :) and they are very thankful for them... the fudge is good but now not so much... all of the candy is mostly gone... :) we needed it for weekly planning thank you!! thank you mom for the Family history papers!! I love to look at them and the conference ensign that you A LOT!!!! and the pictures... i love them all i have looking at alll of them at least 5 times now and i smile every time!! thank you so so so so so much for them!!! The temple dress is cutie with the flower... i can look at it when i am in the temple and think of you mom, thank you... but it looks like a little one touched it before it went in the package... there are some brown smudges that i think i can get out before i go. :) i can not wait for that!!! :) IF there is anything i forgot i am sorry but i love them all very very very much!!!
I hope and pray that sandie is ok with her surgery i will be praying for her all day and then some so she can be better and healed... please keep me updated on her status. THat is cool that ryan is an Elder now... has he gotten his call yet??? I want to know where he is going!!! :) I think it will be fun to write him!! :)
SO i went to the physical Therapist this week. I was very impressed with him. It also helped a lot that he is a member and had served a mission... but before hand i had no clue that was the case. another witness that heavenly father loves me!!! so he did all the tests possible to see what is wrong with my knee... and it is swollen which is good to know... but he said is that my fatty-pads- the cushions under my knee cap are inflames, and very very very very likely with is not good at all is that my meniscus, the thing between the two bones in my legs is torn, and there is no way to tell if that is the case without doing an MRI but we are going to see first if the PT is going to help or not... but i do all that he has told me to do and i ice it like he says... but now it feels that it is hurting a lot more and more... i juat want it to get bettter!! and also he but the electric thingy on me that makes it tingle, that was cool... so anyway we set it up that i see he twice a week for two weeks and then go down to one a week for two weeks... butttt i couldnt get an appointment until NEXT TUESDAY!!!! and i will have to cancel that cause i have a meeting i will have to go to ugh!!! but i pray that all will get better!!! Mom, sister ray should be calling you to tell you what happened... i asked her to do that... she also went with me to the appointment, she is so nice and sweet, a very good grandma figure, and amazing! so.. that is the update on my knee....
welll I hope all is well i am very thankful for all that everyone does for me!!! I pray for everyone every night!! I also know that my Prayers are not going unanswered! But please keep me in your prayers becasue I Know that Heavenly Father is listening!! :)
