sooo... sister smack is ... AMAZING!!!!!  i just love her to death and we have so much fun together!! it is interesting to train... i can see all the things i have learned from being a missionary... it is kinda scary how much i really have learned... wow... but... its all good... the only sad part is that she is a twig and can fit maybe 3 of her in 1 of me.... and she doesn't eat sweets cause it makes her sick... so that means all the sweets she gets goes to me... hmm.... ...

 

well... we have had a fun week... many many meeting we have had to go to.. but the best part by far is yesterday i was able to interpret a partiariacle blessing... that was so cool!!! i loved it so much and i cannot wait to be a real interpreter... i love the deaf people so much!! they all just fill my heart with so much joy!!!

 

i was also able to go to a deaf funeral... that was different... but good at the same time... don't worry when i get home i will explain the best i can about him... just remember to ask me about EC....

Amazing week!!!‏ 2/19/2013

What another amazing week!!! I just love love love my companions!!!!! they are the best ever!!! all we do is laugh and have fun while doing the work!!! we laugh at each other and at ourselves... and we tell the best stories!!! I have learned so much from them, I am so grateful for the time we have been able to spend together!!! :)

 

So... here in a every short few hours i will be picking up my new companion, sister smack... I'm a little happy, a little sad, and a little scared... but i know that the lord is on my side...

 

Guess what.... we had a BAPTISM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i had number 12 baptism this past Sunday, her name is xa tran she is from Vietnam... and she is just a hoot... all of her facial expressions crack me up!!! and poor elder Christensen had to delete all of his pictures of her from the baptism cause she was cold... and it was way noticeable in allllll  of his pictures... poor elder!!!!! but way super funny!!! she was baptized by a recent convert Sirafin, he is from Cuba, and she had to be dunked 3 times cause her elbow wonted go all the way under... it was cute... she was copying the baptism pray that was being signed to sirafin... way cute!!!! we are all super happy that it is over and we saw her this morning and from the first time i met her till now, it is crazy how much the gospel has changed her life for the better!! and she is almost done with the book of Mormon stories... she just finished the brother of Jared story.... she liked that Jesus came down... :) we are also way happy that she understands the god head, and doesn't talk about "Jehovah" anymore.... she has learned a lot from the JW, but ... she likes our church a lot better!!! SCORE!!!! also at the baptism there were 4 other deaf getting baptized, it went so well, and a lot showed up!!! it was another waters of Mormon... in the deaf branch!!! AMAZING!!!!!

 

Lets see my week... hmm... we have been super busy getting ready for xa's baptism and for merak's baptism, he is a 12 autistic boy who lives in Anaheim and is getting baptized this Sunday... so... it has been super crazy!!! and super fun!!!!

 

I am happy to hear that all is going well with everyone at home!!! :)

 

I'm sorry for the short letter... ... i don't have much time today... we got to fly... and i have 3 more mins... I love you all soo soo soo much!!!

two areas... WHAT!!!‏

Wow!!! what a week i have had!!! there is too much work!!! working in two areas is super crazy!!! we do not have enough hours in the day to do all the work that we need to be doing!! and i love it!! i love both of my companions!!! they are amazzzing!!! we laugh all the time and we are there for each other when it is needed!!! i think this is the best compaionship so far that i have been in!!! i just love them both so so so much!!!! we have so much fun together and we are always talking and there is never a dull moment with us!!! :)

 

so... hmm... funny story... hmm... im thinking...

 

so i love love love love love the deaf branch!! it is like i never left, the teaching pool is different but i love the people still the same!! we should in fact be having another waters of mormon this weekend with FIVE , yes, FIVE baptism this sunday, all of them deaf. the one we are teaching is Xa, she is a veitnamize women that is deaf i met her before i left for LaHabra and now she is getting baptized and she really wants it i am so excited for her!!! i cannot wait!!! :)

so the apartment that we are in are so nice it is super crazy!! it is in downtown Anaheim and is so nice and it is a studio but it is so big!!! and so much room!! I love it!!! i think the only thing i would change would be not to have the hard wood floors and to have carpet!!! :) but i love it still the same!! :) 

 

so mom... that would be way cool if we could see a lot of thoes things in seattle... i think we will have a blast and i cannot wait to go!!! and i am happy that jan said that you can stay at her house when you come and get me... oh and the update is that im still leaving on the 4th... so... yep i talked to the office and that is the date... anyway... i am so stoked about being able to show you around and stuff!!! i just cant wait!!! i think it will be so much fun!!! :) :) :) :) and you can come and meet some for the deaf people that i love so much!!! It will be AMAZZZING!!!!

 

so... the anaheim ward that i am in is the ward that members go to if they want to go to church when they go to disneyland... so the ward is small but is alway... ALWAYS!!! full of visiters... and it is also the ward the President bowen goes to... so... it is way intersting!!!

 

next week on tuesday is when sister smack comes... im so excited and scard at the same time!!!! i think it will be intersting  training by mysself.. but who knows... and sad cause i dont want to leave sis thompson and sister smith!!!!!!

 

wow... i am so happy for ashley, words cannot express how happy i am for her... i think i will write her a letter today... yay!!!!

 

so... this past week i hit my year mark in the mission that means that i have been out for 14 months already... and that i have 4 months left... where did the time go??? i have no clue and i just want it to slow down right now... i dont want it to stop!!!!!!!! i am loving being a missionary so much i dont want it to end!!!!

 

I love you all so much and i love love the pictures that you send me and all the news... even the sad news about the dog... but i love it and i love hearing how the kids are doing thank you so much!!!!

GUESS WHAT!!!‏

I got transfered back to the deaf branch!!!!! so i am back and i will be training the new sister that will be coming in, in two weeks!!! so right now i am with sis smith, an asl sister, and sis thompson, an english sister, we will be covering two wards... the deaf branch and a ward in anaheim until the new asl sister comes and then it will be just me and her in the deaf branch and the other sisters in the anaheim ward... so... it is crazy and complacated all at the same time but i think it will be fun!!!! :) :) :) :) :) i am so excited to be back!!! I love it here so much!! I love LaHabra but, it was time to come back... and... now im on my 3rd to last transfer... i dont have that much time left and it is supper dupper crazzzyyyy!!!!  I cannot believe it!!! oh... and Macey arives home this week from her mission... and next it will be me!! wow time is going by way way too fast!!!!

 

so... my week... hmm... we were super busy!!! on monday night we were knocking on an apartments... and we knocked in to a member that had moved into our ward a few months ago and becasue of medical problems hasnt been able to come to church... but it was a funny ordeal... we knock and a man answers the door and says hold on a min. we need to pick up first... and then sis napigkit and i stand outside thinking what in the world is going on??? this is supper crazy!!! are they members??? so after a few mins they open the door and let us in... and the first thing out of my mouth was... are you members??? and they answered yes and told us why they havent been coming to church... but they knew that any day now that someone from the ward would come by and visit... well... the lord sent us without even telling the ward... funny how things like that happen!!! :) :) :) :)

 

Then on tuesday we had an appointment to meet this new couple from another church that wanted to talk to missionaries... well... basically all they wanted to do was bible bash with us... and that was not going to happen... they were nice though... they listened to the whole first lesson... and then they started in... and every time they would try to argue all sis napigkit and i would do is bear our testimony so they could not really say anything about that... but it was really fun and intersting... my faith is not shaken but i think it is stronger, and i am so happy that i know the truth!! :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) :) : ): )

 

sooo... all is well and i am so happy!! :) :) :)

 

so.. thank you mom for your package!! i love it... and sis tagge got hers today thank you so much for sending it!!! she was really supried!!! yay!!! :) i really like the knitt jacket thing you sent me!!! i love it all so much!!! and all of the candy.. wow... thanks... :) i shared it with alot of the other missionaries... umm... it was really hard to leave LaHabra and the people i love but i am so excited to be going back to the deaf branch!!! I love it there!!!!

 

oh man... i have so much stuff... and half of it is books... but i think some of the things i will try and give away... well the ones i dont use and same with my clothes... sis thompson my new comp is my size so that will be nice and i think i will give her some of my old clothes... well the ones that are in better shape... for some reason my clothes are so beat up.... and oh man i have so many shoes... and i dont even wear them... some i am saving cause they are so warn out and other i dont like cause they hurt my feet... oh and mom i like the new shoes you sent me thank you!!! :) :) :) ... and then there is other little things that i want to keep casue they have a memory attached to them... sso... i have so much stuff!!!! it is CRRAAAZZZZYYY but i love it!!!

 

Sister Punaa goes home tomorrow night... i dont want her to go... i love her so much!!! i will miss her even more!!! :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

 

I have learned how thankful that i am for President Bowen this week, I love him so much and i am so thankful that he is my mission president. I know the Lord knew what he was doing when he sent me here!!!
