June 11th
Well... recently... in fact two seconds ago... my Companion Sister Jackson leaps up from her chair screaming "SHES PREGNANT SHE IS PREGNANT!!!! WHENS THE DUE DATE WHENS THE DUE DATE".... Scared me half to death... well i want this news too... hint hint crystal and amber :) but we all just laughed and laughed ... it was very funny on accounts that we are in a church library and all, but this is the same sister who has a brother who won at BINGO and jumps on the table and takes his shirt off and waves it around yelling "BINGO BINGO BINGO" so i am not all that surprised. this is one of the many reason i love her so much! :)
So my past week... CRAZY!!!! We spent a lot of time with Chris... he is our Less Active's Grandson... sad news is that he leaves this Wednesday for Florida and he doesnt know if he will be coming back or not. But we taught him four times this week!! he just loves the Gospel and is a blast to teach... but one of the times... Eileen was asleep in her room... and she is Deaf, and her door was lock so we had no chance of waking her up... soooo we decided to take our lesson outside to a more public setting so we go out and sit on the lawn in front of her town home and start to pray... at the same time a police helicopter flies over and says on the intercom " please go inside of your residence and lock your doors" repeatedly. well... we freak a little and tell chris we will have to see you again another time... we cant go in the house cause we dont know when we will be able to get out again... so we high tale it to the car... along the way we see a police officer checking all of the dumpsters... we know that heavenly father is looking out for us! :)
Also we had an unexpected call from Joi and Dalynn to come teach them before Dalynn moves back to her moms in LA... so we go and teach them once more about the importance of prayer, but Dalynn had all these questions about the other things we had taught them... it was proof that she truly was there and taking in all that we were teaching her what a tender mercy! :) They are so cutie! I will miss them so much! but not miss their family tree, but it is alot like all of the other Deaf family trees... its not a tree they are all a Line... :)
We also had Zone Conference this week... AMAZING!!!! also Sister Jackson was asked to give a talk, i am so happy that she is my companion, she teaches me so much and we have so much fun together and we see so many miracles! President Bowen asked us to sacrifice something to show the lord that we are truly trying to focus on the work and to improve... we we decided to sacrifice a few thing... (1) our nightly planning, we are going to try our hardest to not get distracted. (2) Show more charity to our members of the branch (3) stop doing less active work, they are not helping us get baptisms, and (4) we need to have a change of heart towards our district leader, this we have been working on since before i came as a missionary. But i do know that when the three of us do give us this and sacrifice and show the love we mean business then the baptisms will come. :)
My fathers day... :) we had an amazing lesson with SIX deaf people in one room!!!! one was an excommunicated member, one was a member and the other four were investigators... two we had met that day!!! it was crazy!! but we did get a new investigator out of it Linny... she is so cute! and we are so excited to start teaching her!!! :) YAY!!!! :)
So the part mom has been waiting for.... my packages... i got them all... all THREE :) and a bunch of letters... most of them from crystal and one from greg. The Packages, I LOVE THEM SO SO SO SO SO SO SO MUCH!!!! mom i had no idea you were going to send me more clothes and i love them all very much!! Of course i love to get new clothes all the time and mom the sharpies... I love them and i use them alllll the time!!! and Crystal my companions love love love their skirts a lot!!! :) and they are very thankful for them... the fudge is good but now not so much... all of the candy is mostly gone... :) we needed it for weekly planning thank you!! thank you mom for the Family history papers!! I love to look at them and the conference ensign that you A LOT!!!! and the pictures... i love them all i have looking at alll of them at least 5 times now and i smile every time!! thank you so so so so so much for them!!! The temple dress is cutie with the flower... i can look at it when i am in the temple and think of you mom, thank you... but it looks like a little one touched it before it went in the package... there are some brown smudges that i think i can get out before i go. :) i can not wait for that!!! :) IF there is anything i forgot i am sorry but i love them all very very very much!!!
I hope and pray that sandie is ok with her surgery i will be praying for her all day and then some so she can be better and healed... please keep me updated on her status. THat is cool that ryan is an Elder now... has he gotten his call yet??? I want to know where he is going!!! :) I think it will be fun to write him!! :)
SO i went to the physical Therapist this week. I was very impressed with him. It also helped a lot that he is a member and had served a mission... but before hand i had no clue that was the case. another witness that heavenly father loves me!!! so he did all the tests possible to see what is wrong with my knee... and it is swollen which is good to know... but he said is that my fatty-pads- the cushions under my knee cap are inflames, and very very very very likely with is not good at all is that my meniscus, the thing between the two bones in my legs is torn, and there is no way to tell if that is the case without doing an MRI but we are going to see first if the PT is going to help or not... but i do all that he has told me to do and i ice it like he says... but now it feels that it is hurting a lot more and more... i juat want it to get bettter!! and also he but the electric thingy on me that makes it tingle, that was cool... so anyway we set it up that i see he twice a week for two weeks and then go down to one a week for two weeks... butttt i couldnt get an appointment until NEXT TUESDAY!!!! and i will have to cancel that cause i have a meeting i will have to go to ugh!!! but i pray that all will get better!!! Mom, sister ray should be calling you to tell you what happened... i asked her to do that... she also went with me to the appointment, she is so nice and sweet, a very good grandma figure, and amazing! so.. that is the update on my knee....
welll I hope all is well i am very thankful for all that everyone does for me!!! I pray for everyone every night!! I also know that my Prayers are not going unanswered! But please keep me in your prayers becasue I Know that Heavenly Father is listening!! :)

What a Week. It went by in a blurr! The best part is that we have a new invstigator Chris, and he is so ready for the gosple and is progressing very well. Who know inviting a less active member's grandson to watch the restoration would bring such amazing results! :) But then again we also lost two of our investigators, Dalynn and Joy, the 11year olds. They just were not progressing and not quite ready yet but they will be, and they know that we love them and want the best for them.
So, the funny story this week. We have at church a Computer that we basically have Closed Captioning on, and we have to speak into a mic to tell it what to say.. and this thing is called a Dragon. Well. the dragon doesnt work they way it should most of the time and gets words wrong allllll the time. But Yesterday the Members who were giving the pray for sacrament meeting their last name is Thexton... and well for our opening prayer we had brother sister sex tape saying the prayer. and then for the closing pray we had sister sex tape saying the pray... so no where else on this earth will one find for everyone to see the phrase "sister sex tape" for every one to read, in an LDS church... all of us missionaries had the hardest time trying to keep it in... Sister Jackson tried her hardest to push the return button before anyone could see but all of us missionaries saw! oh man and then President Jarman (branch President) comes over afterwards and asks how is the Dragon working... almost wet my pants... :)
Thank you Jenni for sending me the pictures of Payton! she is growing soo soo sooooo much!! wow and they look so cutie! I just love them to death i wish i could print them off but i cant so i hope they are in my packages! :) And mom i look very much forward to geting them! :) I love getting mail! and i am sure the temple dress will look fine, i just cannot wait to go to the temple. happy to hear that everyone is doing ok and that all is well. I will pray for grandpa and Sandie for their surguries, please let me know that all will be ok with them. Tell joe thanks for breaking my chair.. i really loved that chair what am i going to so with our it?? and tell him to stay away for all my other stuff so he doesnt break any of that too... i really do like my stuff. Also tell me if amber tells you anything about the letter you gave her, i also wrote her a long letter too... let me know if she makes any comments on that as well i told her about my feelings towards dad, and how it has effected my life, such. MOM OF COURSE I WANT TO GO ON A CRUISE WITH YOU ARE YOU CRAZY! IT JUST HAS TO BE AFTER I GET HOME IN JUNE AND BEFORE I CAN GET STARTED TO SCHOOL IN AUGUST! So please keep me updated on that front too!!! :) Oh and that reminds me... I have thought a lot about it and i think i really do want to go to Utah for school... I will need your help this winter to send in my app. Please and thank you!
I have an appointment this friday to start my physical therpy... my knee still hurts not as much but if i am sitting for a long time and it is bent thats when it hurts the worst, i just want it to get better!!! And there is a copayment of $10 each visit and so i will need that in my account please!! I am using both insureances... but there is still a co payment. :)
I am trying to think if there is anything else.... hmmm.... good to hear about chris starting his new job. ....
OH my Companions... I love them to DEATH!!! we laugh a lot! and i am also learning the importance of communication! but most of the time we have fun and laugh with eachother... Sister tagge is full of gas all the time and is not affraid to let it out... Sister Jackson is... well a perfect missionary but still has fun with us too! I will have to send you pictures of the prank we did to sister Tagge... her mom sent her a card that and a picture of a "supper Missionary" on it and her mom put her picture over her face.... welll sister jackson and i took the picture after sister tagge went to sleep ( she goes to sleep a LOT earlier than the two of us) and we put our faces over hers... and in the morning Sister Tagge just laughted and laughted!!!! Its really funny because the picture is a really bad picture... but our faces are still on the card. :) We just have a lot of fun together and we see alot of mircals because we are three and not two we have so much power it is unbelieveable! we are the only Trio in the whole mission right now :)
Well, I send my love! I still pray for everyone EVERY night! Please keep me posted.

June 4th 17 Lessons in one Week!
This past week has be a blurr.. we yes had 17 lesson this week, may it be to a person on the street or to an investigator... and boy am i bushed!! :) Thank you for the Addresses I will have fun writing them. :) Jessica also sent me her address too, YAY!! :)
This week i was the interpreter for Juana to get her temple reccomned for Baptism for the Dead!! we are so happy for her to be going to the Temle and then Sergio got the priesthood yesterday, and he wrode his bike to church so he could get it!! :) what a faithful member!! We also have 3 new investigators... Ashley her mom is a member and she is hearing and she is 15 and fun, we have a lesson with her tonight :) and then there are these two OLD biker chicks that we are teaching and they are so fun and cutie!! Helen and Delia. Delia wants to be baptized where Helen said no because she is not the fan of the water... we know that will change real soon!! :)
My knee... i went to the doctor... and they said that my knee cap tried to move out of place and went half way and then when back... there is a doctor name for it but i for get. but it hurt the liaments around it.. it is very slowly improving, but the doctor i met gave me a referral to go to physical therapy. so i will try... but all is well nothing is broken and i dont need anything scary for my knee it just hurts to move it if it has not been moved for some time, but walking is getting better and i am getting faster... still no running yet, but sister tagge showed me some new stomche exercises i can try and they have been working. :) I will keep you updated, and sister ray the Mission nurse was not happy that the place i went didnt accept my insurence... she called choice plus people to see where to go where they would accept it.. and at last they did not... good thing for mission medical to help out... :) but it ended up not costing me anything so if a bill come, which it shouldn't, call my mission office. :)
Mom, are you going to send me the temple dress??? our next date to go to the temple is June 28, and so if you are going to send it it would be nice if it was sent before then. Also as much as i would like the tan skirt... you dont need to make me another on... i have so many skirts right now and if money is tight i dont need it... i just got a lot of clothes for a sister missionary that went home.. if you send me anything please let it be short sleeve shirts cause it is gettting realllllllly hot her and all my shirts are very heavey. AAANNNDD the white skirt is perfect and I love love love the pockets!!! :)

may 28th White Skirt week
This week was amazing!!! i went on two exchanges and i am still lost on the Stephen front... and we are starting a new transfers and we lost our only deaf elder to a hearing area. but good news. we found out from President Bowen that we are getting a new ASL sister in October and guess what... she is Deaf!!! yay!!! that will be so much fun! October seems so far away but so close at the same time we can hardly wait!! :) This past week... phew... i cant believe all that has happened all in one week. some of it feels like ages ago and others feel like it happened only minutes ago.
so... i went on an exchange last tuesday with two sisters... i went to their area, one is from England, Sister Corner and one is from Australasia, Sister Felila. They were so much fun! and so interesting to work with. We had fun going to Less Active members homes, oh man hearing their life problems and ... i dont understand why they tell us, we cant do anything for them. they were a lot of fun. :) Then Wednesday we had District meeting and that is always fun! Thank you mom so much for you package!! I love the Skirt... in fact i have worn it 3 times already cause i like it that much!! :) and the pillow case is do cute!! both of my companions love it!! and the pearls thank you so much mom i love them a lot too!! :) and the fiber bars are a very nice change :) and very welcomed!!! and the doll is too cute!! it is sitting right next to my rufus! crystal thank you so much for your two letters i really liked them :) Then that night we had an appointment with Dalynn and Joy but they werent home but we met with their "parents" again and we told some very interesting information and they are happy that we are teaching them, its just that they need approval from Dalynn's real mom, so we find out tonight what will happen. we are praying for the best!! :) and then Thursday.. what a fun day... we met a man while street contacting who saif that he has been looking for the book of mormon for 5 years now!! and cannot wait to start learning, and we told him about the first vision there on the street it was so wonderful!! and then on Friday... oh man friday.. we had a very interesting lesson with stephen... we talking about tithing... he still wont accept it. ( on Sunday, President Jarman, the branch President, came us to us and asked how he was doing and we told him, and that we are thinking of dropping him, and he told us to keep teaching him, it will come... heavenly father used him as our messenger, so we are no longer dropping stephen) then walking out of that appointment to our car we meet a family... this family was so perfect. the dad said that he was looking for someone to put a "Bible" in his hands and to teach him the truth, so we taught them right there :) and as we were walking away we met the elders that we would be passing them too and they met them too... heavenly father wanted these children to learn. The mother told us that they saw us walking earlier and they never thought that we would stop and talk to them, and that they have been waiting for the message that we have to give them!! :) Then Saturday, I went on another Exchange... it was so much fun!! we Knocked into a women who we were able to give a lesson on her door step, and she cried becasue she knew that heavenly father sent us to her!! :) then we had dinner at a members home... we had Musabi, it is Hawaiian, it is a lot like sushi but with spam and not fish... i liked it but then again i am not picky. :) Then Yesterday at church, so many deaf people came it was amazing and the best part... the Vazques family got their temple recommends for baptisms for the dead and sergio is getting the priesthood next week!!!! :) I am so excited and I just know that they will like it!! who can not get to the temple and not love it! :) I have had an amazing week!! and this up coming transfer that starts today... i cannot wait to see what happens... it is going to be so much fun i can hardly wait!! :)

so... i went on an exchange last tuesday with two sisters... i went to their area, one is from England, Sister Corner and one is from Australasia, Sister Felila. They were so much fun! and so interesting to work with. We had fun going to Less Active members homes, oh man hearing their life problems and ... i dont understand why they tell us, we cant do anything for them. they were a lot of fun. :) Then Wednesday we had District meeting and that is always fun! Thank you mom so much for you package!! I love the Skirt... in fact i have worn it 3 times already cause i like it that much!! :) and the pillow case is do cute!! both of my companions love it!! and the pearls thank you so much mom i love them a lot too!! :) and the fiber bars are a very nice change :) and very welcomed!!! and the doll is too cute!! it is sitting right next to my rufus! crystal thank you so much for your two letters i really liked them :) Then that night we had an appointment with Dalynn and Joy but they werent home but we met with their "parents" again and we told some very interesting information and they are happy that we are teaching them, its just that they need approval from Dalynn's real mom, so we find out tonight what will happen. we are praying for the best!! :) and then Thursday.. what a fun day... we met a man while street contacting who saif that he has been looking for the book of mormon for 5 years now!! and cannot wait to start learning, and we told him about the first vision there on the street it was so wonderful!! and then on Friday... oh man friday.. we had a very interesting lesson with stephen... we talking about tithing... he still wont accept it. ( on Sunday, President Jarman, the branch President, came us to us and asked how he was doing and we told him, and that we are thinking of dropping him, and he told us to keep teaching him, it will come... heavenly father used him as our messenger, so we are no longer dropping stephen) then walking out of that appointment to our car we meet a family... this family was so perfect. the dad said that he was looking for someone to put a "Bible" in his hands and to teach him the truth, so we taught them right there :) and as we were walking away we met the elders that we would be passing them too and they met them too... heavenly father wanted these children to learn. The mother told us that they saw us walking earlier and they never thought that we would stop and talk to them, and that they have been waiting for the message that we have to give them!! :) Then Saturday, I went on another Exchange... it was so much fun!! we Knocked into a women who we were able to give a lesson on her door step, and she cried becasue she knew that heavenly father sent us to her!! :) then we had dinner at a members home... we had Musabi, it is Hawaiian, it is a lot like sushi but with spam and not fish... i liked it but then again i am not picky. :) Then Yesterday at church, so many deaf people came it was amazing and the best part... the Vazques family got their temple recommends for baptisms for the dead and sergio is getting the priesthood next week!!!! :) I am so excited and I just know that they will like it!! who can not get to the temple and not love it! :) I have had an amazing week!! and this up coming transfer that starts today... i cannot wait to see what happens... it is going to be so much fun i can hardly wait!! :)

This week.... what a week.
I find it interesting to find out that a cop had to come by the house and not by mom but by crystal... so thanks for the update. :) I wrote Ryan a letter this week, I thought it would be a good idea, also can you get me jessica's address so i can send her a letter i wrote her please and thank you. :) So Ellen... I want pictures... tell me about her... I am happy to know that Grandpa is happy too... where are they going to be living... so i can send him another letter??? Thank you crystal for the advice about the fam. thank you very much. :) The list... hmmm well i will try and send it to you today... i will try my best to get it out to you :) there might be a few things added ;) but you love me and you know that i am worth it. I cannot wait to get my box on WEDNESDAY. :) Elder Garcia is doing well, he is having fun on he island of Maui. Good to know that Roxie is doing well and that she is not biting at her leg too much! :)
So mother... i have a question and so kinda news sorta... so my knee has been hurting me a lot lately and I told the mission nurse and she told be to be icing it and to put a brace on it and i have been... but it still hurts and yes i am taking meds for it... but it doesn't help most of the time... it has been about a week since it has started to hurt... and it started hurting when i got out of the car and starting walking... nothing out of the abnormal... so i made a promise to my comps that if it is not better by wensday when we have dinner with sister ray... our mission nurse, that i will ask to go see a doctor... when i ice it it helps but not that much... it is my lower knee and if it is bent and then straightened thats when it hurts and it hurts more when i put weight on it... i have no clue what could be wrong but it hurts... and i have been going everything i can to not have it hurt. soo... i thought you would like to know and be in the loop if sister ray calls you.. she might im not sure... but i pray that it will just go away and it will be nothing... i dont want to go to the doctor... i dont want to hear what he has to say.... i think he will tell me to do all the things that i am already doing and that feels like that is not working and i talked to sis jackson about it and she ask what do i want to hear? that i need surgery? i said no... i just want it to stop. so there you go mom you are in the loop if she calls... i pray that she doesnt have too.
So... Stephen... i just want to shake him!!!! he told us this week that he is praying about baptism... and that he keeps on thinking about baptism... the holy ghost is doing his job of giving him the thoughts... but oh man!! i want to shake him!!! He told us that his two concerns of baptism... 1 tithing... 2 white shirt and tie... thats it... and the tithing issue is that he doesnt what to pay 1/10 that he wants to pay as much or as little as he wants... but we told him that at our next appointment that we will ask him to be baptized and we are going to explain tithing to him so he can understand... pray for us that he will understand... we need all the help we can get! Other than that... we have no other investigators... we are doing a lot of finding ... and that means a lot of walking... :( but i do love to find. I wish my body would work the way it should!! I miss running in the morning with my companions, i hate it!!!!
Dont worry mother i will let you know what i think of the box :) !
So, story time... so we were at some apartments in Tustin, and we meet these preteens and the are interested in our message :) and so we ask if we can sit on the grass with them for a few mins and share a little message. so as we are sitting down this mother that we said hello to maybe 10mins earlier asks if her daughter can join, and then she follows with pulling up a chair... WOW!!! we had 4 people sitting around us listening to our message. We gave them each a Plan of Salvation Pamphlet and to told them all about it. it was so nice the spirit was there to testify of our truths. :) afterwards they all accepted to having missionaries come to their homes to teach them. It was so amazing!! this is why i am a missionary, this is where my joy becomes full!

Look forward to hearing about too exchanges this week and for both of them i am going to their areas :) yay english for two days should be fun! :) and I am told that one of the nights the dinner appointment is at a Tongan home and they will be giving me Tongan food... all i asked is if it will be horse and they said no, all is well. :) Have a good Week! :)
